I come from a farming family of several generations. My great-grandparents lived in a large house in the country near the village where I was born. My great-grandfather started a chimney-sweeping business to feed his thirteen children.  He visited one customer to another on his bicycle, with his tools on his shoulder. 

 

My grandfather worked long hours for decades in a factory. He still hasn't stopped. Today, he is 84 years old and still working.  He continued to sweep chimneys but as a side-job. 

 

At the age of 20, my father decided to grow the family chimney sweeping business, which had already existed for three generations.  He invested a lot of his time and energy to develop this business to support his family.  Fast forward, he continues to work a lot, leaving him no free time. Today, my father has a robust clientele with many projects, enabling him to be very well financially. 

 

My father recruited one of my siblings to train him for thirteen years in his business, so eventually, he can succeed the family business.  

 

So the family chimney sweeping business will continue to florish across four generations.
